Lenten recollection organized by the CSAPG and the OLCM
A Lenten Recollection was organised by the Office for Lay Collaboration in Ministry (OLCM) and the Catholic Secretaries and Admin Professionals Guild (CSAPG) for Secretaries and Admin Professionals on Saturday, 24th March, 2018 from 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. at Salvation Seva Kendra Hall, Dadar. The Recollection, conducted by Rev. Fr. Anthony Fernandes was on “BEING A CHRISTIAN WITNESS IN THE WORK PLACE’ and the theme/focus was on Forgiveness and Repentence! The hall was packed with secretaries and admin professionals who with their presence, enthusiasm and whole hearted participation filled the hall with energy and a vibrancy that took the recollection to a different level.
The participants were all very appreciative and full of praise for Fr. Anthony and the organisers and since then the coordinators for the Guild at the OLCM have been inundated with congratulatory and thank you messages. It is impossible to reproduce all the messages here, but some of the adjectives used by the participants in their messages were – ‘inspiring’, ‘enlightening’, ‘spirit filled’, ‘enriching’, ‘beautiful’, ‘wonderful’, ‘insightful’, ‘meaningful’, ‘too-good’, ‘eye-opener’, ‘thought-provoking’, ‘different’, unexpected’, ‘words fall short for the gratitude we feel’, ‘thouroughly enjoyed and looking forward to more recollections’. The participants have expressed their gratitude to the OLCM, the Guild and Fr. Anthony and have conveyed their eagerness to join the CSAPG as a member. All were also very appreciative of the tea and snacks served to them on arrival and the sumptuous lunch, which though vegetarian, was finger-licking delicious.
